MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. It is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to help B- schools select the suitable candidates for the 2 years management course. The Government of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test 16 years ago, that is in 2003. Eligibility Criteria for MAT is:

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or a professional degree(CA/CS/ICWA)
  • There is no age bar, candidates of any age can apply
  • Final year graduation students can also apply

  • The fee can be paid through debit/credit card or net banking.

Admit card

The registered students can download the admit card for PBT and/or CBT from the official website of All India Management Association (AIMA) at http://www.aima.in

The Admit card consists of Candidate’s Name, Form No., Roll No., Test Date, Test Time and venue Address. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of CBT.

 

Exam Pattern

  • The examis conducted in both online and offline mode.
  • The time duration is 150 minutes.
  • Number of questions is 200
  • Maximum marks are 200
  • Each question carries 1 mark and negative marking -0.25 for the wrong answer
  • There are 6 sections in the test
