During the course of the conversation, he mentioned that the field of Telecommunications was soon going to open up & India was certain to see the arrival of international players like AT & T, Ericsson & others. He pointed out that the new economy would be thirsty for competent managers with a technical background & therefore suggested that Symbiosis consider establishing special courses for telecom personnel.
