CAT 2018 Notification

CAT- Common Admission Test 2018 is a national level management aptitude test organized by one of the IIMs for admission to several management programs under Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).  This year, CAT 2018 is organized by Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C). CAT 2018 exam score is considered by various management institutes along with IIMs.  CAT 2018 exam is a computerized based standardized test held once in a year. CAT online registration usually starts in the month of August and exam is conducted in the month of November. It is a single day exam held in 2 sessions. CAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

There are minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in CAT 2018 exam which is as follows:

•      Candidates who are in their final year graduation or its equivalent or waiting for their result are eligible to apply. In this case, candidates shall submit the necessary documents by June 30, 2019.
   
•       Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks are eligible to apply.

CAT 2018 Registration Procedure:

•        Go to CAT 2018 official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in
  
•        Complete the registration process by providing the details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email address to receive user ID and password.
   
•        Now by using these login credentials, log in on CAT official website.
   
•        Access the application form by clicking the appropriate link and fill up the details as required.
   
•        Upload the required documents
   
•        Select programme names
   
•        Now provide exam city preferences
   
•        Make the payment of requisite fee using available payment methods. The application fee for General/NC-OBC is Rs. 1700/- and for SC/ST/PWD (DA) category, it is Rs. 850/-
   
•        Once you’ve made the payment, a conformation email will be sent to your email ID.
   
•        Finally, log in to your account and download your filled application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Based on CAT 2018 score, candidates will be selected to apply in various Top B-schools. The selection process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
