The result of CAT 2019 exam is released by IIM Kozhikode on 4th of January 2020. The CAT 2019 exam was held on November 24,2019. The exam had reported the largest number of 209,926 candidates and highest percentage of test takers during last five years.
IIM Kozhikode Director Prof Debashis Chatterjee and Prof Shubhasis Dey, Convener of CAT Exam 2019, deserve credit for conducting CAT 2019 exam successfully on November 24, 2019, and increasing the number of test-takers. This time the CAT 2019 has reported the largest number of candidates who gave the exam in last five years and also the highest percentage of test takers during last five reasons.
The candidates can download the CAT scorecard:
The candidates can download their CAT scorecard using the login ID and username. The CAT 2019 scorecard will contain each candidate's name, registration number, category, photo, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile and overall percentile.
Highlights of CAT 2019 exam result:
1. The CAT 2019 result has been declared on official website of IIMCAT and candidates are informed through the SMS.
2. The official date of CAT 2019 result has been announced, and result will be announced on 4th January at 5pm.
3. The candidates can download the CAT 2019 result from the official website of IIMCAT.
4. Soon after CAT result declaration, IIMs will begin the shortlist process for written ability test and personal interview rounds.
5. The candidates who meet CAT 2019 cut off will be eligible for written ability test and personal interview to be held in February 2020.
How to download the CAT 2019 SCORECARD:
The result of CAT 2019 exam has been announced and will be available on official website of IIMCAT to download. The registered candidates can check their result and can download the scorecard by using their CAT logins IDs.
The candidates can download the scorecard by using the following steps:
1. Visit the official website of IIMCAT
2. Click on "CAT LOGIN"
3. Then, enter the login details:
CAT 2019 ID and Password
4. Click on the Scorecard Tab.
5. Download the CAT scorecard.
Details mentioned on the scorecard:
- Registration number/user ID.
- Candidates name
- Gender
- Category
- Date of birth
- Date and time of exam
- Contact details and email ID
- CAT scaled score (overall)
- CAT score (section-wise)
- CAT percentile score (section-wise)
- CAT percentile score (overall)
What after the CAT 2019 RESULT?
After the CAT 2019 result has been declared, the candidates will be invited by the IIMs for WAT-GD-PI rounds. The candidates who reach the minimum cut-off are shortlisted for this round and will be required to apply on the official website of the IIMs they selected in the CAT application form for admission. Thereafter, the institutes will shortlist candidates on the basis of their overall and sectional CAT percentile and academic record.
The IIM admission process consists of three stages:
1. Screening of candidates on the basis of CAT score and academic history.
2. Written Ability Test- Group Discussion and Personal Interview (WAT/GD-PI) round.
3. Final selection of the candidates.
