Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr.M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. Established in the year 1997, It is an autonomous school of excellence in international business in recognition of its academic leadership in international business in the country. The institute mainly focuses in International Business, Global Entrepreneurship, and is engaged in teaching, research, consulting, and continuing education programmes. Mission is to continually improve the Programmes in international business keeping in view the three important aspects: relevancy, demand, and best of scholarship. Vision is to be among the best in International Business Education, Research, Training and Consultancy.
